๐ฎ๐ณ The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended AFSPA in parts of Arunachal Pradesh for another six months from October 1, 2026.
The extension covers Tirap, Changlang and Longding districts, along with areas under Namsai, Mahadevpur and Chowkham police stations in Namsai district.
The areas will remain designated as โdisturbed areasโ until March 31, 2027, unless withdrawn earlier.
