๐จ Gujarat Official Suspended for 6 Days After 12 Streetlights Fail on PM Modiโs Route
A Dabhoi Municipality official, Mahesh Vasava, has been suspended for six days after 12 streetlights were found non-functional and several others flickering along a road travelled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Vadodara district on October 31.
The official, who was in charge of the municipalityโs lighting department, has been asked to explain the alleged negligence. The incident has raised questions over whether basic civic facilities receive attention only during VIP visits.
