Kiwi to get cheaper in India
New Zealand kiwifruit could become cheaper in India after the IndiaโNew Zealand FTA takes effect on October 20.
The agreement removes the 33% import duty for an initial quota of 6,250 tonnes, rising to 15,000 tonnes by year six. Imports outside the quota will also receive a 50% tariff cut.
