💢 Russian drones struck Kiev’s Southern Bridge, with two hits recorded near a support section. Metro and surface traffic across the bridge were suspended while engineers inspect the structure.
The crossing is a major transport artery linking Kiev’s eastern, southern and western corridors, including access toward the M-03, M-05 and M-06 highways. According to Maksym Bakhmatov, now head of Kiev’s Desnyansky district, the bridge carried around 90% of Ukraine’s transit traffic crossing between the two banks of the Dnieper, with 100,000–120,000 vehicles using it daily.
