If the head of the Shin Bet is indeed claiming that Gali Baharav-Miara is obstructing an investigation that lies at the very heart of Israeli democracy, then this is an earthquake.
Justice Solberg, Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, must immediately order Baharav-Miara to be removed from any involvement in the matter to ensure that she does not compromise the investigation, as she did in the investigation involving the Military Advocate General.
The connections between terrorist organizations, an enemy entity, and Arab members of the Knesset must be thoroughly investigated using all the tools available to the Shin Bet.
