The Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, Israel Police Commissioner, Chief Superintendent Danny Levy, and Shin Bet Director David Zini held a joint, multi-front situational assessment today (Tuesday) as part of preparations for the sensitive period in the coming weeks.
During the assessment, the intelligence picture along the borders and within Israel was presented, and efforts to improve and strengthen multi-front defense, combat terrorist organizations, and address nationalist crime were detailed.
The heads of the organizations agreed on a series of measures that will leverage the comparative advantages of each organization in order to ensure the proper and secure conduct of the upcoming elections.
