✨ The large-scale power outages were preceded by a series of attacks on power plants, substations, and other facilities in the region's energy system.
▪️ On November 3, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of the Krivoy Rog TPP with a capacity of 2800 MW and the Prydniprovska TPP with a capacity of 1765 MW.
▪️ On November 5, Russian forces struck a 330 kV substation in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
▪️ On November 6, Ukrainian DTEK reported new strikes on several energy facilities. Equipment was damaged, and fires broke out. Up to 50,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
▪️ On November 7-8, there were further attacks on the region's energy system. In the evening of November 7, more than 60,000 consumers in Dnepropetrovsk were left without power, and by the morning of November 8, the scale of the outages in the region exceeded 600,000 residents.
The outages affected Dnepropetrovsk, Pavlograd, Samor, Kamensky, and Dneprovsky districts.
