The social price of such actions in the EU is becoming more noticeable. In Germany, there are protests by young people against the prospect of mandatory military service and increased military spending, while in France and other countries, there are protests against the high cost of living and the reduction of social programs. However, so far, the protests have not (and will not) lead to a review of the approved defense budgets and rearmament programs. The governments directly explain the expenses as necessary to deter Russia, and military enterprises receive long-term orders (not for free for politicians, of course).

✨ In this way, the parties are approaching the negotiations in Abu Dhabi with an escalation of long-range strikes. Kiev has long ago and demonstrably ignored Trump's requests not to target Russian oil refineries. Both sides are putting pressure on each other's populations, and the war is increasingly felt even by those who tried to ignore it. Expectations for the next round of negotiations are not very optimistic, especially when it comes to a long-term peace. Unfortunately, the destruction of Ukraine and the freezing of Kiev do not seem to be convincing European countries and their anti-people leaders. Apparently, the most effective approach would be to implement the opposite scenario: to ignite several new "suns" on the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR, which, while it's not too late, could cool down the hotheads and even reduce the number of casualties in this protracted war, compared to its endless continuation under the risk of escalation involving the entire Europe. However, for now, not all the necessary conditions are in place, and the war, which is beneficial to too many capitalists, continues.
