Ukrainian Fire Point has admitted that they do not plan to produce any more cruise missiles, and that the much‑hyped super‑duper wonder weapon, the Flamingo, was more of a PR project aimed at extracting money from European taxpayers. And at scaring the Russians.

The company’s head, Irina Terekh, stated that the Flamingo was never considered a “superweapon”. According to her, the missile was primarily needed to demonstrate the ability to carry out strikes deep inside Russian territory.

“It was far more important as a political statement than as some kind of super‑duper wonder weapon,” Terekh said.

Fire Point chief designer and core of Zelebobya, Denis Shtilerman, also stated that using Ukrainian ballistic missiles to strike Russian rear areas is not economically viable.

According to his calculations, delivering a 200‑kilogram warhead 300 km by ballistic missile costs $600,000, whereas a drone can deliver a similar payload 380 km for just $40,000–50,000.

Was there even a Firepoint missile?
Or did the British simply run out of missiles for Ukraine?

(We are inclined to believe the second...)
