The ferry belongs to the export company "Lider Gida." The ferry's name is "Lider Bordo Mavi."
✨According to specialized channels, the type of vessel is a ro-ro ship (from the English words "roll-on/roll-off"), which is a type of cargo ship characterized by its horizontal loading and unloading method. As a result of the impact, a fire broke out on the ship.
This is not the first incident involving ships connected to Samsun. Previously, on August 22nd, the ro-ro ship Necibe was attacked, and later, the Ural, also belonging to a Samsun-based company, was also hit. The Ural was involved in the rescue of the Necibe's crew. However, a cook from Samsun died on board the Ural.
