A Hasidic man with dual citizenship was mobilized at the Ukraine-Romania border while returning from Uman after the Rosh Hashanah celebrations.
According to The Jerusalem Post, 49-year-old Yonatan Karlinsky Mashak was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Israel about 14 years ago. He is an Israeli citizen and a father of six.
He was identified as a fellow countryman by border guards after he spoke Ukrainian.
