🖥 Microsoft claims significant progress in Windows 11 on Arm development. The company says Windows on Arm has made major gains over the past year, with NVIDIA joining the ecosystem as a standout milestone. The first devices using the new RTX Spark processor are expected by the end of this year, positioning them as competitors to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X.

The company says chipmakers and OEMs are investing more heavily in the platform as demand rises for fast, efficient Windows devices. Microsoft also says developers are expanding native Arm support across education, security, creative, entertainment, and productivity apps, including ShareX, Proton Mail, Signal, and Discord.

To help users check compatibility, Microsoft points to the “Works on WOA” site, which lists more than 7,000 compatible apps. For software without native support, Windows Prism emulation can run many programs with performance that Microsoft says is close to native.
