Microsoft has released Windows 11 version 26H2, build 26300.9278, to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring as an optional update.
26H2 will ship as a small enablement package, or eKB: Windows 11 versions 24H2, 25H2, and 26H2 all share the same codebase. The eKB activates features that earlier cumulative updates already placed on the system. After a restart, those features turn on and the device runs Windows 11 version 26H2.
The update is also available for business customers in the Release Preview channel through the Windows Insider for Business program. ISO images for Windows 11 Insider Preview build 26H2 will also be available on Microsoft’s website soon.
