Ex-Accountant Sets Surat Textile Market Ablaze Over β‚Ή10,000 Dues

Former accountant Vinod Salve was arrested for allegedly setting fire to Surat’s Shyam Sangini textile market over β‚Ή10,000 in pending salary.

Police said he poured petrol on textile parcels before igniting them, causing losses estimated at β‚Ή24 crore. Salve reportedly fled to Rajasthan and Ayodhya before returning to Surat, where he was arrested.
