🇺🇸 CIA official David J. Rush admitted stealing nearly $194 million.
FBI agents found 298 gold bars during a search of his home.
Prosecutors say the 49-year-old, who had a security clearance, created a fake classified program.
About $145 million went toward luxury property, watches and cars, while $46 million was used to buy gold.
May searches also uncovered about $2.1 million in cash and €105,000. Rush agreed to forfeit the property, 30 watches, two BMWs and all the gold bars. Sentencing is set for 28 January.
He faces up to 20 years in prison.
